Chinese officials have been rejected a second time by a local London council to build a ‘super embassy’—which would include a campus ten times larger than its current embassy, as well as feature a vast underground complex with tunnels connecting other buildings, and a dormitory capable of housing hundreds of people—over fears it would better enable Chinese officials to intimidate and spy on dissidents living in England, as well as concerns it would degrade the quality of life for those living nearby because of frequent protests, although the Labour Party has reserved the right for final approval.
What do you think?
“Buncha wankers!”
“Super embassy? Super problems.”
“I hope we get approval. I am tired of doing all my work out of Ping Pong, and coming home smelling like dumplings every night.”
