Trump blames disappointing chicken meal on ‘china’

WASHINGTON (China Daily Show) — President Trump today ramped-up his rhetoric against Beijing, apparently threatening to ban porcelain ware from the White House.

“You know I ordered lunch for the whole Oval Office. We had fried chicken, American food… I love chicken,” the US president told bemused onlookers at an impromptu rally in the Rose Garden. “But then I look at the chicken and ask, what is this? They tell me they always serve it on china. I told ‘em, we don’t want this china.

“We want American plates, like we had,” the president rambled on. “We used to make the best crockery. Dinner sets, cups, you name it. These beautiful plates we have at Mar-a-Lago, I gotta tell you. I don’t like my chicken on china, do you?

“My friend Joey ‘Two Teeth’ over at Atlantic City, he used to win all the time at the tables. No china on those tables, I tell ya. ‘Winner, winner, chicken dinner,’ he’d always say,” Trump recalled. “We don’t win any more. America doesn’t win any more, but I’m going to do it, I’m gonna bring back the china.”

At the time of going to press, the US Department of Commerce was forced to deny plans to add china or any porcelain to its “foreign entity list.”
