We Chinese: North Korean Officials Pressure Citizens To Save Electricity By Unplugging TVs

Amid nationwide electricity shortages, officials have instructed residents to help save the economy by unplugging appliances to ease strain on the power grid, as TVs can draw two watts per hour even when off, although residents are sceptical that the directive will amount to much.

“I leave my vibrator on all day just to fuck with them.”

“What’s electricity? Can you eat it?”
