According to a 2025 U.S. State Department report, North Korea continues to fund research into its secret offensive biological weapons program, which dates back to the 1960s, while also developing unconventional methods of distribution, including sprayers and pen-style injectors, and hasn’t submitted a report to the international community on its stockpiles for more than thirty years.
What do you think?
“Ah, that actually makes sense. I always wondered what happened to the moldy naengmyeon at the back of my fridge.”
“Geez, you fail to hand in your homework for thirty years, and suddenly everyone thinks you’re trying to win a ‘Contagion of the Century’ award.”
“I mean, obviously. We don’t want to show up to the next Biological Weapons Convention Implementation Support Unit Conference, and not have something to share with the group. It always sucks to have to sit out ‘Show ‘n Tell’.”
