Italian authorities have raided Chinese mafia operations in 25 provinces, arresting 13 people for aggravated robbery, drug dealing, and sex trafficking, following the April murder of a senior Chinese underworld figure in a Rome turf war, while recent separate investigations have exposed labor abuse in Chinese-run workshops manufacturing goods for Italian luxury brands, including Loro Piana, Valentino, and Giorgio Armani.
