We Chinese: Dalai Lama Wins Grammy For Audiobook

The Dalai Lama won a Grammy award on Sunday for his audiobook Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, a decision China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian criticized by saying it was “well known that the 14th Dalai Lama is not merely a religious figure but a political exile engaged in anti-China separatist activities under the guise of religion,” adding that the award was a “tool for anti-China political manipulation.”
