We Chinese: China To Mark 80th Anniversary of World War II With Russian And North Korea

Russia, North Korea, Japan, and other nations — some under heavy Western sanctions — will visit China on September 3rd at Tiananmen Square for a ‘Victory Day’ parade marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, a gathering some critics have dubbed an ‘Axis of Upheaval,’ though Italy and Germany, original Axis Powers members along with Japan, will not attend.

What do you think?

“Ah, yeah it sucks when the band refuses to get back together.”

“Doesn’t sound like a good time, really. You put Russia, North Korea, Burma, and Iran together in a room, and all they want to do is brag about who has the worse sanctions.”

“Yo, I heard this is Kim’s first time meeting with multiple world leaders. I bet he is psyched to be sitting at the big boys’ table.”
