We Chinese: British Earth Scientist Claims China As ‘The Great Hope’ For Addressing Climate Research

A British earth scientist, Benjamin Horton, has been appointed the new dean of City University of Hong Kong’s energy and environment school, saying that he considers China to be “the great hope” for the world, pointing to state funding of climate research as well as efforts at reforestation, and developing green technology, while calling the superpower ‘pro-environment’.
