We Chinese: Bai Tianui Executed For Taking 1.1 Billion Yuan In Bribes

Bai Tianhui, a former general manager of the state-owned asset firm China Huarong International Holdings, was executed Tuesday in Tianjin for taking 1.1 billion yuan in bribes, becoming the second senior figure from the bank to be put to death, as China’s top anti-corruption body says it has purged 54 banking officials so far this year.

“Tianjin? Shit, I guess he couldn’t dodge the Rod of God, either.”

“Don’t anybody ever try to upstage me, again.”

“Tough luck that he was Chinese. If you steal that much in America, they make you president.”
