BEIJING (China Daily Show) – Beaming widely, muscular US student Thad, 22, arrived in South Korea today to begin his controversial overseas deployment at the Seoul Institute of Military Technology.
The strapping linebacker and West Point graduate was greeted by crowds of adoring military personnel as he toured the Osan Air Base and promised to help upgrade the local team’s defensive capabilities.
Thad’s arrival came just days after North Korea Polytechnic’s Seahawks scored a 4-0 win over its team of kidnapped Japanese students. Still, not everyone is pleased to meet the hunky study-abroad American. Thad’s Chinese roommate, Fen Qing, is said to be furious at his warm welcome given to his younger overseas colleague.
“We should not allow the seductive American devils to interfere with our harmonious neighbouring relations,” Fen scowled at a passing student. “The Seoul Institute of Military Technology has no need for foreign students. If they continue to enroll them, there’ll be hell to pay! For example, I am already boycotting the campus cafeteria. And if these provocations continue, I’ll probably cease my torrents of Korean drama.”
Fen said he would also be closely monitoring Thad’s activities on base to make sure he doesn’t fuck any of the Korean girls.
