We Chinese: Taiwanese More Reluctant To Go To War Against China

A new My Formosa poll shows fewer Taiwanese are willing to die defending the island from a mainland invasion than two years ago, while most say they’d rather see renewed cross-strait talks to resolve tensions.

What do you think?

“Xi wants our sun cake recipe so bad.”

“It’s true. My parents were 100% willing to die defending Taiwan, but I’ve got more to live for. Bubble tea on every corner? The new iPhone 17? Say what you want about Communist occupation, but at least I’ll still be able to get a classic milk tea, and check my messages.”

“Look, don’t take my response so literally. I was just upset because I misread the text. I thought it was ‘My Mimosa’ sending me a free drink coupon.”
